We prepare chips using potatoes from local farmers which we serve in generous portions.
If you didn’t already know, potatoes are one of the building blocks of a nutritious meal known as carbohydrate. Therefore, chips are not only a tasty treat but also helps you get those carbohydrates into your system, which help fuel you for the day.
Carbohydrates provide fuel for your heart, brain, kidneys, central nervous system and muscles. Without carbs, you wouldn’t have the energy to walk, think, eat, and your heart wouldn’t be able to pump blood.
We also cook our chips using healthy vegetable oil. Vegetable oil comes from flowers and plants and does not contain any harmful cholesterol, flavours or chemicals. Vegetable oil is heart-friendly, as it contains linoleic acid, as well as omega-3 fatty acids.
